The Bitcon Extortionists

When I started logging the number of demands for money using back in August 2018 I topped the 200 mark that have gone into the "bitcoin extortion" folder very quickly. Over 6 years on Bitcon still accepts no responsibility, but it is their practices of hiding the identity of every scammer and con-artist which allows this crap to continue? We should be able to request payment from bitcoin for every demand until such time as the perpetrators can be fined or jailed directly. What is even more irritating is the simple fact that there are no cameras on the kit I use here so how can they have hacked them anyway.

I stopped bothering to log after a couple of months, but now it's time to start publishing the bitcon account numbers on every email that comes in and flag it as an extortionists account once again. And yes Bitcon is STILL a much better description of Bitcoin today. Do you really want to be paid in a currency that you have no idea who much it will be worth even in an hours time? We do not need 'cryptocurrencies' to make payments electronically.

Yes I know that the eMail address is probably not implicated, but the SYSTEM should do more to prevent the use of invalid ones and secure real ones better? The identity of people using the internet is not a matter of 'privacy', illegal actions trump that and the SYSTEM should be able to track who is doing those actions ... anonymity such as provided by Bitcoin is a major part of the problem.
